Acupuncture: Acupuncture is the use of fine disposable needles to stimulate specific points on the body in order to help the body restore its natural balanced state. This safe and effective therapy has been used for thousands of years and can address a wide variety of issues such as musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, gastrointestinal issues, women’s health issues, fertility, and much much more!
Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy:
Injection therapies can target musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, providing long lasting pain relief and helping tissues to regenerate and heal. We provide trigger point injection therapy, neuro-prolotherapy, as well as treatment for scars. Click here to learn more.
Cupping: Refers to an ancient Chinese practice in which a cup is applied to the skin so that the skin and superficial muscle layer is drawn into and held in the cup. In some cases, the cup may be moved while the suction of skin is active, causing a regional pulling of the skin and muscle. The treatment gives the tissue a deep, quick massage. It breaks down adhesions, and thus helps facilitate blood circulation. Cupping can benefit any painful congested area, bronchitis, swellings, arthritis, low backache, sprains, shoulder tension and more.
Ear Seeds: Ear acupuncture points may be stimulated for a longer period of time by using ear seeds. Ear seeds are small seeds from the Vaccaria plant. These seeds are held in place on the ear with a small piece of adhesive tape. Ear seeds may be left in the ear for a few days and can be stimulated by the patient as shown by the practitioner.
Tui Na: A deep tissue massage using different manipulations to stimulate the body energy flow.
Chinese Herbal Therapy: Many conditions can be treated with the help of Chinese herbal medicine. Our herbs are safe and effective, and come in tincture, pills or powder forms.
Chinese Food Cures: What works for one person may not for the next. Chinese food cures will help identify diet needs for each individual.
Cosmetic Acupuncture: also called Facial Rejuvenation, is used to prevent and correct the signs of aging mostly on the face. It is a non-surgical, all natural procedure that will help rejuvenate and revitalize your skin without side effects. It helps improve blood circulation, nourish the skin, and increase collagen production to diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, sagging and dull skin. More than 1 treatment is required for best effects. Contact Rebecca Stephens for more information. Or click here: Facial Rejuvenation
